The Federal Chief Learning Officer Council in partnership with the Department of Homeland Security and the Office of Personnel Management, Human Resources Solutions, announces the availability of Constitution Day training for the September 17, 2010 observance of Constitution Day.

If you have a GoLearn account, you should sign-in and take the Constitution Day course which is available under: Government Courses.

The course: Working Effectively with Tribal Governments is now available for everyone to take on-line. In this course, you will develop an understanding and awareness of tribal issues and concerns. You will learn how the unique status of Indian tribes and their historical relationship with the federal government affects government programs, responsibilities, and initiatives. There is no cost to complete the course thanks to the support of the interagency team: Environmental Protection Agency, Advisory Council on Historic Preservation, Department of Justice, Small Business Administration, General Services Administration, Office of Personnel Management (GoLearn.gov), Department of Interior, Department of Agriculture, Housing and Urban Development, Health and Human Services, Department of Energy, Commerce Department, Federal Emergency Management Agency, and Department of Homeland Security. Under a partnership between the US Department of Labor, Veterans' Employment & Training Service (VETS), and OPM, Emerging Solutions, the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA), training is being made available. The 50-screen course includes 15 embedded knowledge checks and is a available as a Section 508 conformant on-line course for installation on a SCORM 1.2 learning management system (LMS). The new Knowledge Portal launched the first week of June. Active user accounts have been migrated from the previous system into the new Knowledge Portal. Current paid users have been emailed a temporary password to login. If you are a current paid user and you did not receive your password, you can use the Lost Password Link to obtain site access. Note that some email systems are rejecting the server-generated password messages. If you request a password, and do not receive it in a few minutes, call the help desk to have your password reset.
